Pack once. Play all weekend.
The cable you leave on your desk is usually the one you need first. Work through this checklist at home, then check the event rules for equipment and space limits.
Your gaming setup
PC or laptop and display
Test your setup before packing. Check the event rules for allowed equipment and desk space.
Keyboard, mouse and mouse mat
Pack your usual keyboard and mouse, including any receivers or charging cables.
Headset
Use headphones for game audio and voice chat so your neighbours can enjoy their games too.
Power and display cables
Pack the correct leads, adapters and chargers for every part of your setup.
Wired network connection
Bring your network cable and, if your computer needs one, a compatible Ethernet adapter. Check the event requirements before departure.
Useful backups
Keep essential drivers and recovery information accessible. Back up important files before travelling.
Before you leave home
Download and update
Install your games, launch them once and finish system updates. Do not leave a full game library download until arrival.
Check your logins
Make sure you can sign in to FoM and your game launchers, including two-factor authentication. Keep recovery codes private.
Ticket and identification
Check the attendee assignment and seat in your account. Keep the ticket and required identification ready for check-in.
Competition preparation
Read your game rules, confirm your team and note registration and check-in deadlines.
For the whole weekend
Sleep and personal care
If using the sleeping area, bring suitable bedding. Pack toiletries, fresh clothes and anything you personally need.
Food and breaks
Plan time away from the screen. Check the catering information and event rules before bringing your own food or drinks.
Keep belongings safe
Label easy-to-mix-up equipment and keep valuables with you. Lock your computer when stepping away.
Keep walkways clear
Plan your setup so cables and bags stay out of walkways. Leave speakers and equipment prohibited by the event rules at home.
Unsure whether something is allowed?
Ask the crew before bringing extra electrical equipment, an unusual setup or oversized gear. The published event rules take priority over this packing guide.
