Terms and conditions

The rules for using the FoM website, buying tickets and taking part in the event and competitions.

1. Who organizes Frag-o-Matic

Frag-o-Matic (FoM) is organized by E-Events VZW, enterprise and VAT number BE 0871.628.142, Professor Scharpelaan 90, 3130 Betekom, Belgium. This is our correspondence address, not the event venue.

Contact [email protected] for general questions, [email protected] for tickets and payments, [email protected] for competitions, and [email protected] for privacy questions. The event page gives the venue, dates and opening times for each edition.

These terms cover use of the FoM website, purchases, attendance and competition participation. Read the relevant product description, event information and competition rules before ordering or registering. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

2. Accounts and accurate information

Give accurate account, billing and attendee details. Use your own identity for admission; a nickname does not replace the attendee's legal identity. Keep your sign-in details private and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Some actions require a verified email address. Keep your contact details up to date so that you can access orders, tickets and important event information. Updating a legal name or account identity may require review. Do not create false identities, impersonate another person, bypass account restrictions or use another person's account without authority.

3. Ordering and payment

The shop shows the edition, ticket or product, price, availability and any applicable conditions before you place your order. Review the final order total, including any disclosed charges, before confirming. Sales stages may have different prices and availability. An advertised later price change does not rewrite an already agreed order price.

Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee stock. When checkout creates a reservation, its payment deadline is shown. Choose a payment method available at checkout and follow Mollie's instructions. If payment is interrupted, check My orders before starting another payment.

Admission requires a valid paid ticket for the correct edition. An unpaid reservation can expire; stock is released after any payment in progress has been checked. Contact [email protected] with the order reference if payment succeeded but the order has not updated. Keep your order confirmation and use the documents available in your account.

4. Ticket holders, assignment and seats

The person who buys a ticket and the person assigned to attend can be different people. Eligible tickets can be assigned to an existing FoM account with a verified email address through the account tools. The buyer retains purchase ownership and can manage or take back an assignment where the ticket's status allows it. A current attendee may transfer an eligible assignment. Giving someone an assignment does not transfer the buyer's order or payment rights.

Use the current ticket in your account. Assignment changes can invalidate an earlier download link. Do not share or duplicate a ticket or barcode for use by more than one person. Tickets and seats are valid only for their edition and ticket type. Changes are restricted after check-in and when a ticket is cancelled, refunded or otherwise ineligible. Contact ticket support when the account tools do not offer a change, including coordinated changes to pass tickets.

A ticket that includes seating permits one eligible seat reservation. Select an available seat on the correct edition's seatmap and follow any opening, progressive-release or VIP restrictions shown there. Adjacent seats are not guaranteed. Staff may block unavailable seats or help correct, assign or move a reservation. Contact [email protected] if you need assistance; do not occupy someone else's seat.

5. Group offers and VIP access

Groups of 15 or more can request 10% off Regular tickets, including Early Bird, Normal and Late Entry. The FoM team reviews the request and provides an offer through the account using the sales phase active at approval. VIP tickets, rentals and merchandise are excluded. A request does not reserve stock or seats. An approved offer reserves the quoted tickets and price until its stated expiry, even if the sales phase changes. Acceptance transfers that reservation to the order and its payment deadline. Declined, cancelled or expired offers release their stock. Seats must be selected separately.

Group tickets are non-refundable if you choose to cancel or cannot attend. This does not exclude remedies that mandatory law gives you if the organizer cancels or fails to provide the agreed service.

The VIP waiting room opens 15 minutes before sales: for FoM 28.0, on 5 November 2026 at 19:45 Belgian time, with sales starting at 20:00. Joining before 19:45 is unavailable. Everyone waiting at sale opening has an equal chance in the random starting order; later arrivals join at the back. Joining does not buy a ticket or guarantee availability. Follow the checkout deadline when access is granted. Missing a deadline can release your place or reservation. The product offer determines the VIP benefits.

6. Cancellation, withdrawal and other products

An admission ticket for an event on a specified date or during a specified period is a dated leisure service. The ordinary 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase does not apply to that ticket. Any additional cancellation or refund option offered by FoM is described with the ticket or offer. For a request outside those conditions, contact [email protected]; approval is not automatic.

If FoM cancels, postpones or materially changes an event, we will explain the situation and the options that apply. A restriction on cancellation by the customer does not remove rights arising from cancellation or non-performance by the organizer. Nothing here excludes rights or refunds required by applicable law.

The dated-event exception is not a blanket rule for everything sold in the shop. Merchandise, rentals and other services have their own product conditions and any statutory rights that apply to them. Check those conditions before ordering. Equipment collection, return, deposits and responsibility for damage must be stated in the relevant rental offer; an admission ticket alone does not include a rental.

7. Admission and participants under 18

Bring a valid ticket and be able to establish your identity at admission. Follow the check-in process and the access instructions for your ticket type. Visitors and participants have different access and participation rights; a visitor ticket does not by itself allow entry to participant competitions or use of the wired participant network.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or bring a written agreement from their parent or guardian that is signed, dated and valid for the whole event. Keep that agreement available throughout the event. Without the required accompaniment or agreement, the minor cannot attend. Any game-specific age or account requirements also apply.

We may refuse or end access for an invalid ticket, failure to meet admission requirements, a serious safety concern or a breach of these rules. Decisions and any consequences for a refund remain subject to applicable law. Identity checks do not amount to permission to retain an unrestricted copy of an identity document; personal-data handling is explained in the privacy policy.

8. Your setup and the venue

Use only your allocated space. The standard setup is one gaming system and one display, with the necessary peripherals. A console can be the gaming system where the ticket and competition permit it. Obtain written approval before bringing extra computers or displays, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, printers, scanners, strobe lights, generators, megaphones, horns or other equipment outside the permitted setup. Ask the organizers if you are unsure.

Use headphones. Loudspeakers are not allowed; staff may require them to be disconnected and stored for the event. Follow the venue's house rules and staff safety instructions. Keep aisles, emergency exits and evacuation routes clear. Obstructing objects or vehicles may need to be removed, with responsibility for reasonable costs determined under applicable law.

Do not bring weapons or pets. Contact the organizers in advance about assistance animals or an accessibility need so that arrangements can be made consistently with applicable rights. Put your rubbish in the provided bags or bins. Respect sleeping and quiet areas and do not disturb other people at night.

9. Conduct, safety and communication equipment

Treat participants, visitors, crew and opponents with respect. Harassment, violence, vandalism, indecent conduct and disruptive intoxication are not acceptable. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the hall. Illegal drugs must not be possessed, used or sold at the event. Serious offences may be referred to the police.

Keep your belongings secure and tell staff promptly about loss, theft, damage or an accident. You are responsible for damage you cause in accordance with applicable law. The event takes place in a third-party venue; follow the venue rules as well as FoM's rules.

Do not use PMR446 transmitting equipment at the event without prior written permission. Unauthorized equipment must be switched off and may have to be stored for the event. Do not intercept, obstruct or misuse crew communications. If you hear operational information accidentally, do not disclose it in a way that compromises safety or privacy. This does not prevent reporting misconduct or using a legal right.

10. Network and software use

Use the network only for lawful purposes. Do not unlawfully copy, distribute, download, stream, seed, store or sell copyrighted material, or operate a service for that purpose. You remain responsible for your own activity and data.

Use the network connection and address assigned to your seat. Do not use another assigned address, change your hardware address to bypass restrictions, set up an unauthorized private network, or connect equipment outside the permitted setup. Visitors must not use the wired participant network, including through a participant's computer. Use your own authorized setup or equipment specifically provided or approved by the organizers.

Hacking, cracking, traffic interception, spam, flooding, spoofing, disruption and attempts to bypass security are prohibited. Only authorized staff may conduct network checks. Follow instructions about network access, bandwidth and safe operation. Any monitoring or logging must have a lawful purpose and is covered by the privacy information; these terms do not authorize unrestricted inspection of private data.

11. Commercial activities and checks

Get prior written permission before distributing advertising, selling goods, providing paid services or carrying out other commercial activities at the venue. Permission may include conditions protecting event operations and agreed sponsor arrangements. Claims for any resulting loss are subject to applicable law.

Cooperate with lawful, proportionate safety and admission checks of equipment, bags and other items brought to the event. Staff will explain what a check is for. This is not a blanket authorization to search private files or storage devices. An unsafe or prohibited item may have to be removed or access may have to be refused, subject to applicable law.

12. Competition registration and teams

The general competition rules and the rules published for the specific competition form part of participation. Read the edition's competition page for sign-up dates, format, team size, permitted substitutes or coaches, account requirements, schedule and any particular restrictions. A rulebook from a past edition does not by itself announce the next edition's programme.

Each player must use their own identity and an eligible active ticket assigned to them for the same edition. Complete all required player and team information. A player cannot enter the same competition through multiple teams or use the same ticket for multiple people. Two people cannot share one participant entry or gaming setup to bypass these requirements.

Teams must have the required number of eligible players. The captain is responsible for the team's registration and for communicating official instructions to the team. Registration may be declined for an incomplete or ineligible roster, a relevant ban, irregular information, missed registration dates or a reached capacity. Game-specific rules determine how prior cheating reports are assessed; an unsupported allegation is not a new automatic ban policy.

Be available for scheduled play throughout the event. Entering more than one major competition requires the relevant competition administrators' agreement where the rulebook requires it. Permission is not normally required for competitions classified as Normal or Fast under the general rules, but entering several competitions never excuses a scheduling conflict. If two matches cannot be combined, you may have to choose and forfeit the other. Check each competition page for its category and approval requirements.

English is the main language for competition communications; Dutch may also be used. The general competition rulebook gives its Dutch version precedence where language versions differ. This does not exclude mandatory consumer protections. Ask the competition administrator if a translation or rule is unclear.

13. Fair play, schedules and results

Be honest with opponents and administrators. Cheating, prohibited scripts or software, bug abuse, dishonest evidence, match manipulation and bribery are forbidden. Each game has its own settings, anti-cheat requirements, prohibited techniques, recording requirements and spectator rules. Follow the applicable game rulebook rather than assuming that another game's settings are allowed.

Under the general cheating rule, the offending player is removed from competitions and the affected team's already played matches are forfeited. The remaining team may continue where the format and game rules allow it; exclusion during a bracket phase ends the team's participation in that competition. Apply any more specific sanction or review procedure stated in that competition's rulebook. Serious conduct may also lead to event sanctions.

Follow the published schedule and check official announcements during the event. Tell an administrator immediately about a delay. Technical problems with a player's computer or problems caused by FoM may justify an adjustment; eating or an absent player who has left to sleep do not. A late team that has not informed an administrator can forfeit the match. If both teams miss the match, neither receives points or advances under the general rule.

Keep the results and evidence required by the game rules, including any required screenshots or recordings. Report results honestly through the available competition process. Administrators can verify results and correct mistakes. Administrative decisions about play do not remove a participant's legal rights.

14. Competition disputes

Tell the competition administrator immediately if you suspect foul play or an incorrect score. The general rulebook gives 10 minutes after the match to submit a conflict with supporting information and evidence. A report without sufficient information may be rejected.

The administrator will review the evidence and may seek more information. If you want the head of the competition department to review the decision, raise that request within 5 minutes after the administrator's decision. A crew member can identify the responsible person. Their decision is final within the event's sporting process, without preventing a complaint or legal remedy provided by law.

Follow a clearly published game-specific protest rule when it applies. Some existing game rulebooks use a different filing point, such as before the next match. Contact the administrator immediately if rules appear inconsistent; do not wait for the later of two deadlines. Manipulating evidence or bribing an official can lead to removal from the tournament.

15. Prizes and the stage

The competition page describes the available prizes. Under the general prize-money threshold, a team competition needs at least 6 teams, and a one-player competition needs at least 10 players, to qualify for prize money. Do not treat an old edition's sponsors, prize pool or format as a promise for a new edition.

Winners must attend the prize ceremony to claim a prize under the existing rules. Players finishing first, second and third should report to the competition desk and provide the information needed to identify the recipient, record receipt and arrange payment. The registered participant or registered legal entity is the prize recipient under the prize policy.

Prize-money claims must be made within 30 days after the event. The published standard payment period is within 90 days after the event, in euros. If payment is delayed, contact [email protected]. Any delay or change remains subject to applicable law; sponsor delays do not create an unlimited waiver of the recipient's rights.

Where an invoice is required, it must identify E-Events VZW at the address above, the event, competition and placing, and the relevant bank details. Tax and VAT treatment depends on the recipient and the applicable law. We will request the information necessary to determine the correct treatment; no fixed nationality-based withholding rate is promised in these terms.

On stage, follow crew instructions and behave respectfully. Country flags are permitted under the existing stage rule; regional flags are not. Do not wear racist or abusive clothing, use offensive language or appear indecently. Photography, interviews and coverage are subject to the privacy and image-right information below, not an unrestricted waiver of those rights.

16. Photos, broadcasts and personal data

FoM may photograph, record and broadcast event activities and competitions. Competition rules may require access for authorized administrators, observers or commentators. Those sporting rules do not give unrestricted permission to publish someone's image or private information.

The Privacy Policy explains the purposes, legal bases, visibility, recipients, retention criteria and rights that apply to personal data and event coverage. Where consent is needed, it is requested separately. Contact [email protected] about personal data or an image concern. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional marketing or non-essential cookies; use the separate choices described in our Cookie Policy.

17. Enforcement, responsibility and complaints

Depending on the seriousness and circumstances of a breach, staff may give a warning, require prohibited activity to stop, remove an unsafe item, apply a competition penalty, end event access or suspend future participation. Follow reasonable safety directions. Serious offences may be reported to the police. We may seek compensation for proven damage in accordance with the law. Sanctions do not automatically remove every right to reimbursement or legal review.

We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for our own failure to meet mandatory obligations. Nothing in these terms makes you waive all claims for injury, theft, equipment damage, network failure or loss of personal data. Whether a party is responsible depends on the facts and applicable law.

For a ticket or purchase complaint, contact [email protected]; for an event complaint, use [email protected]. Give the relevant order, ticket or competition reference and describe what happened. Competition deadlines concern the sporting review process; they do not replace statutory complaint or court rights.

Belgian law applies, without taking away mandatory protection that applies to a consumer. Disputes may be brought before the court that is competent under the applicable jurisdiction rules. If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest continues where it can lawfully do so.

18. Changes and rule availability

We publish updated terms and competition rules with a version or date. We may make necessary operational changes for safety, fairness or a technical problem and will communicate them through the relevant event or competition channel. This is not a right to change an agreed price or remove a mandatory remedy without a valid basis.

Keep the terms and offer information supplied with your order. Ask [email protected] if a rule is unclear or if you need a copy at the event. Where documents conflict, contact the organizers so the applicable rule can be clarified; mandatory law takes precedence.
