Rules
Terminology
A “game” is defined as the instance of combat where the outcome is determined by a player losing all their stocks.
A “set” is defined as the best-of-5 (Upper Bracket), best-of-3 (Lower Bracket) or best-of-7 (Lower Bracket Finals & Grand Final with upper bracket advantage) games that is played until a team/player has won a majority of the set.
Winning, placement, advancement
There will be poules per 4 participants depending on the amount of people participating. The top 2 proceeds to the bracket. All games in the poules will be BO3.
The upper bracket matches are BO5 (best out of 5), lower bracket BO3. The lower bracket finals will be a BO7. The grand final is a BO7 with winners advantage.
The winner of the match moves on to the next game.
Always take screenshots of the endscreen with the roomnumber visible!
In Game Settings
You can automatically set all the correct lobby settings by clicking the "Lobby" tab in settings and selecting the Circuit 1v1. Please always double check if all the settings are correct.
(Do not forget to change ur region to Europe to prevent any lagg)
Legend/Stance Locking
If Player A makes the private room and invites Player B, Player B must lock in their Legend and Stance before Player A is required to. In every other game of a set, the winning player of the previous game must lock in their Legend and Stance before the losing player is required to.
After both teams are locked in, the lobby can move forward and map striking begins.
On the first game of any set, Player A must strike all but three stages from the map pool. Player B may then choose from the remaining three stages by striking two.
Every game afterward within the set, the losing player of the previous game must strike all but three stages from the map pool. The winning player of the previous game may then choose from the remaining three stages by striking two.
Disconnects
If a player disconnects during a game and is unable to re-connect to finish the game, that disconnecting player forfeits one game.
There will be NO exceptions regardless of when the disconnect occurred.
If both players disconnect the game must be replayed immediately without a break between games.
Leaving the game without confirmation of your opponent to replay (in case of lag for example) will result in a loss for that game! Always take a screenshot of said so confirmation.
