2.1  Compo overview

Title: Worms Revolution

Compo description: Last worm standing wins

Compo sign-up: Till Sunday 12h45

Compo Start: Sunday 11th 13h00  @ Tones booth (left side)

Max Players: 64

Winners:

1st place (=final winner (best of 3))

2nd place (=final loser)

3th place (=winner of an extra duel: the loser of the semi-final (best of 3))

Compo Structure: Duel (1vs1) in single elimination brackets.

 

2.2  Compo Rules

Matches will be played in the Tones booth on provided computers : 2 players on 1 pc (hot seat).

You don’t need to own the game to sign-up for this compo.

Every bracket match consists of 1 map (best of 1).

Final + loser final: best of 3 maps (best of 3).

In case of a dispute, the compo admin has the final say.

 

Specified game settings

VERSUS -> DEATHMATCH: intermediate;




round: 10 minutes;




turn time: 45 seconds;




1 win;




teleport in: OFF;




random map: ON;




4 REGULAR worms/player (no special worms such as Scout, Heavy or Scientist are allowed, only Soldiers. Both teams should be exactly the same, choose ‘clone’ to add the second player);




Upon a draw game, the game is cancelled and set to restart with the same rules but a total number of 2 worms/player on another random map.




Choose your team colour (red or blue) before the game is started to avoid confusion.




Check to default the game controls in the menus before starting the competition to avoid confusion.




All matches are to be played at the provided computers. No personal gear is to be connected, unless the admin allows it specifically.
