Prepare, join, play
Choose a competition and read its rules. Confirm that your ticket and event registration meet the requirements before making plans with teammates.
Playing as a team? Choose a team leader and make sure every required player is on the roster. Your clan and your competition team are separate.
Complete registration and any required check-in on time. Check the published schedule and leave enough time between competitions.
Before playing, confirm your opponent, match settings and scoring rules. Contact the competition admin if something does not match the published information.
Follow the result-reporting instructions for your competition. Keep any required screenshots or replay evidence until the result is confirmed.
A quick guide to formats
Single elimination
Win to advance. A loss ends your run in that bracket; check whether the event includes a separate placement match.
Double elimination
A first loss moves a player or team into the lower bracket. Read the competition rules for how the grand final works.
Round robin
Players or teams face the others in their group. Points and the published tie-break rules determine the order.
Swiss
Play across a set of rounds, with pairings based on results. Check the rules for points, byes and tie-breaks.
GSL groups
A small group uses an opening round, winners and elimination matches, then a deciding match to determine who advances.
Time trial
Your recorded times determine the ranking. Check attempt limits, penalties and which runs count.
Heats and free-for-all
Several entrants can compete in one session. Placements or points are combined according to that competition's rules.
If a result is wrong
Contact the competition admin promptly with the event, competition, match and the issue you noticed. Include the evidence requested by the rules. Avoid starting another match with disputed settings or an unclear result.
After an admin changes a result, check that the corrected score appears in the competition system. A conversation in Discord alone does not confirm a score correction.
The game rules are the final reference
